BRP (Bombardier Recreational Product) Indonesia as the official ATPM for Can-Am and Sea-Doo vehicles, held the Can-Am Ryker Sunday Morning Ride (Sunmori) on Sunday, 19 December 2021. This activity was enlivened by the Can-Am Indonesia Brand Ambassador, Kevin Sanjaya, fellow media and automotive vlogger blogger Ade Christian from BRP Semarang, as well as Tripwe CEO Sofian Lusa and Tripwe Corporate Communications Gusi Ayu Putri who were also present to release the Sunmori group.
Can-Am Product Manager, Adrian Suriantio said this activity was carried out to introduce the Can-Am Ryker three-wheeled vehicle to the public through activities riding which is fun by inviting well-known figures who have hobbies and style that fits this vehicle.
“Sunmori's activities are different from others. Usually the others, Sunmori ride two-wheeled motorbikes, this time we ride three-wheeled motorbikes and the event is enlivened by Kevin Sanjaya, Brand Ambassador of Can-Am Indonesia. The route chosen in this event is also more interesting because it is further away, namely to Bogor,” explained Adrian, who is often called Yoyon.
In this sunmori event, the CEO of Tripwe, an app-based adventure marketplace, Sofian Lusa said Tripwe welcomed the collaboration with Can-Am On-road Safari in holding Can-Am Ryker Sunmori.
"In addition to having one vision in developing sports tourism in Indonesia, this collaboration will also promote safety standards in driving, as well as introduce adventure a new style using three-wheeled vehicles, "explained Sofian.
Can-Am Ryker Sunmori picks up the starting point at Can-Am Pondok Indah office and finishes at Pancar Garden Café in Sentul area. A total of 6 Can-Am Rykers took to the highway to participate in this Can-Am Ryker Sunmori activity. With tagline #RideLikeNoOther, participants are invited to cross the streets of Jakarta and Bogor and feel a different driving sensation and comfort in crossing the Jakarta-Bogor city road.
"It's really fun to join the sunmori with Can-Am and Tripwe, everyone should try riding on the Ryker, especially if you take them far out of town," explained Kevin Sanjaya after riding on his Can-Am Ryker Trail.
Can-Am has two lines, off-road and on-road. The Can-Am on-road line is equipped with the Can-Am Ryker, Can-Am Spyder F3 and Can-Am Spyder RT models. This Can-Am Ryker Sunmori activity aims to introduce the latest model year 2022.
The Can-Am Ryker is equipped with a 900 cc, inline 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled Rotax engine. The power it produces is 82 hp at 8.000 rpm and 79,1 Nm of torque at 6.500 rpm. All this power is channeled through a CVT automatic transmission, complete with a mechanism to assist when reversing.
